My name is Sam Manoogian and I am a professional photographer. I’m a clinical psychologist by training and profession and a photographer by interest and avocation.
My strength as a photographer is my ability to talk to people in a way that allows them to open up and be heard, and ultimately seen. I am self taught and hold no degrees in art or photography education. I have taken multiple photography workshops.
I grew up in Worcester and spent my teenage years summering on the Cape. As an adult, I have lived in North Carolina, but returned to Eastham in August of 2020 to take care of my mother, a long-time Cape resident. This relocation and the impact of Covid allowed me to focus on my photography.
